Lynn Nanttle
We got up at 5:00am to catch the sunrise behind Mount Snowdon. It's 1085 feet high. We took 7 hours to climb and descend. At the top I plucked up the courage to propose to my Girlfriend. I came back down with a Fiancee. An amazing day!

The Cobb
The Cobb, Lyme Regis, Dorset, England

The Cobb is a giant sea barrier, protecting the small fishing harbour from the raging waters of the English Channel. I may seem to be making it more dramatic than it is, but I have seen the waves push over the top.

Free Range
Frisby on the Wreake, Leicestershire, England

Whilst out for a countryside walk, we were approached by half a dozen horses. I have a real fear of horses and by nature they are inquisitive.

I began to set up my tripod when I saw the first horse of the day, from about 10 metres and needless to say this one walked up to me, which intimidated me and I moved on, with the horse in tow until I crossed a stile.

An hour later we just passed through an open field, with a a couple more wild horses and I decided to not shoot them. As we left that field and made our way across the next field, I turned around to see this horse crossing the hedge we we just walked through, then it started to trot and the hedge made the perfect frame.

Some times patience and a fear of horses does pay off.

We woke up to find the sheep basked in the morning sun.

Spots
Unknown Category
I guess this shot could fit into a few categories. Black & white, landscape, street (to an extent), and people. This shot was taken minutes before I proposed to my girlfriend.
Mountain Biking
In the true sense of the sport, not content going through some country lanes and over some hills, this guy cycled to the top of the third highest mountain in the UK. It was also the warmest day in October ever recorded in the UK.
Sun, Sea and Rain
April 2009. The beginning of the worst flooding the area had seen since 2001.
Arrows of Light
As the sun breaks over the coast of Albania at approximately 04:00, the harbour is lit up.

Flight to Brisbane
I'd posted this before, it's on page 2 of my profile, but I couldn't resist reprocessing it with some new software I got, and I'm happy I did. The highlights and the midlights are much stronger and the image is sharper than before. I've also given it a little straighten. I hope you agree that it's an improvement to the first 500px.com/photo/664307.
Chilling
Sat at the edge of a pool in Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia.
Storms Brewing
To warn you this is a HDR, but I am not a fan of the overblown colours that you often get, so I have simply extended the tonal range as my equipment at the time, couldn't deal with the contrast in the shot. Whilst it is a little underexposed, I have done this to capture the drama of the brewing storm and the surfer.
All Play No Work
Coffs Harbour, Australia.

Another HDR, using NIK HDR Efex, I had to push the ghosting and alignment to the max, as the waves were rolling in and the people were moving around.
