Design a catalogue to showcase a collection of objects, which interests you. Paying attention to hierarchy of information, captioning, typography, use of imagery, and format of the design. The collection is targeted at artists, designers, archivists and collectors.

The book can be read in two directions, either by even pages and then odd pages, or simply read normally. It’s up to the reader. This unusual layout allowed me to experiment with the format, using a varying grid. Images were placed on opposite pages, so that when pages are turned, the back of the tag was on the other side. The 24-page book was printed on an 160gsm uncoated stock, the cover is 375gsm GF Smith Ebony. It is hand thread bound in a black cord to complete the tag pastiche. The final touch was to call it The Rag Trade Collectable, making reference to Saville Row’s Rag trade.
